The training course is part of the learning activities of the Erasmus+ Program "Social entrepreneurship and educational practices for young people (SE+ED)" - Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships for youth (2016-2-EL02-KA205-002486).
24 young participants from five European countries will meet in Thessaloniki (Greece), in March 20th to 24th (2017), at the training titled "Social Entrepreneurship and Educational Practices". The program focuses on the knowledge necessary for establishing an enterprise with a social return of investment. The duration of the training course is 5 days (32 hours total, approximately). The program includes lectures and workshops. By the end of the program, participants will have to be able to design a business plan and use web tools to achieve a successful business.
The objectives of the training course are, the participants:
to acquire basic knowledge of social entrepreneurship: history, current status, opportunities and challenges.
to learn the basic principles for establishing an enterprise with social return of investment: from concept to implementation. To be able to develop their own ideas.
to learn how a business plan is drawn up for a small enterprise and ways to finance it. They will be able to create a small project for their own enterprise.
to comprehend the role played by digital technology, and particularly the Internet, in establishing an enterprise with social return of investment. By the end, trainees to be able to exploit them to their advantage.
Experienced trainers from the partner organisations will cover the 5 days of lectures and workshops.
